Now, that's someone David was hoping he wouldn't run into today. There is a deep, irritated sigh as he notes Sam Guthrie talking to a couple of people in the street. He really was not looking to drag any of the New Mutants into his current little scheme but if Sam notices shenanigans he might call them in and then it'll be a whole thing and frankly David does not have the mental strength for that right now.
“Bloody, fuckin’ Hell,” he snarls under his breath but he steels himself. He does have to deal with this.
However, he does stay put. Hidden away in an apartment building on this same street. It's mostly empty, with one or two residents who are trying to cling to their home. The place has a vacate the premises warning on the front. Apparently, the local council wants to tear it down. David has other ideas.
Thus, when he does contact Sam, it is directly to his mind.
