It was more than the #GIBill that gave me my career... It was the discipline and maturity compelled by #TheGap , in my case, filled by the military — of necessity (my draft lottery number in 1972 was 7; if I didn't enlist by choice, I was going to the Army by law. I have always thanked God ever since that I didn't have a higher number in the draft lottery....because I really do think being in the military saved my life. What about you?
