So many people at work are so lovely. They're people that i don't actually work  with and are in completely separate departments but when you're walking through the zoo, they'll actually smile and say hello, or how are you etc... One guy today (part of the volunteer team) slowed down to walk/talk with me, i'd never spoken to him or seen him before. That's a really nice little open gesture. I've also sparked up a little acquaintance/friendship with one of the groundsmen who i always see and chat to.

Most people are generally lovely to each other, we will actually verbally acknowledge one another existence, even though we don't actually know each other. That's not normally what you get!

It's very..... European ;)

I've worked there for 4 months so it's not a sudden shock, but i'm bored so thought i might write a useless, positive post! :)
