@collieredwing said: "It’s my duty and honor to serve you." Though his tone was gravely serious, the smirk that Collie hid by dramatically bowing low over a wing folded in front of his chest betrayed that he was anything but. ((From the most recent "Fallen Kingdoms Book One Quotes" meme))
Stevie blinked down at Collie, a coffee halfway lifted to her lips, the sweeping gesture taking her completely by surprise. Then she tossed her head back in a loud laugh, the sound echoing a little in the club’s empty space.
Joke or not, it’d be a bold-faced lie to deny that she wasn’t even just a little bit into it.
“I know you’re full of shit, but if you keep that up I just might give you a promotion.”

“It was my fault, really. I wasn’t paying attention and got hit in the face.” (for Angel from the Injury Starter meme)

Though Tibarn is still king of Phoenicis no matter what realm he’s been pulled into, kings and other various royalty are a dime a dozen in Askr. They find merit through their strengths, not their status--which is how he finds himself in charge of one of many flying brigades here.
So far, most of the heroes he’s been given to direct have been fellow bird laguz, with the occasional dragon joining their ranks. Their newest recruit looks like a laguz, like one of his own hawks even. But his aura doesn’t feel like a laguz, precisely--even with the wings Tibarn can see clear as day sprouting out of his back, this newcomer feels more like a Branded, one of mixed blood. Is it possible that they’ve finally managed to encounter winged people from a different world?
“Welcome.” He stands with his arms crossed across his chest, wings relaxed behind his back. “I hear you’re here to help us out. Why don’t you tell me about what you’re good at, stuff you can’t do, things like that so I know what kind of role to give you.”
034. What’s their view of lying? 083. What is the first thing they say and/or do when they wake up?

34. Alistair is a fundamentally honest person, but sometimes he can be unintentionally insensitive with his honesty. He does try his best to soften the blow, however he’s just not that good at it. That doesn’t mean he won’t ever lie, but he prefers the truth both from himself and others.
When it comes to others lying... well, he’s used to it in his household, with his parents having many extramarital affairs on a regular basis and his siblings being rather willing to manipulate and backstab others within their social circle for their own gain. He can’t relate to any of it and he’s actually rather repulsed by such behaviour, but he knows saying it out loud would cause more trouble for him than it’s worth.
83. Without fail, Alistair goes straight to the bathroom to take his morning shower, thoroughly scrubbing himself until he has deemed himself clean enough to leave, a process that can take over an hour on exceptionally bad days.
