Battling the heat

Summer's coming fast, and no matter where you live, the heat can be a problem for your equipment. Power failures or over-heating can cause any electrical product to malfunction. We'd like to share some tips with you to make sure you and your equipment survive the heat! First off, making sure any cooling systems your equipment has is functioning. Every now and then, electronics can short-circuit, and certain functionalities breakdown. In a kitchen, large equipment is often centralized and clumped together. This allows equipment to cool their temperatures from their own heat, instead of the added on heat of products around them. Lastly, is conservative power usage. Operating your dishwasher when half-full exhausts the power and creates a lot of heat from more uses. Conservative power usage eases the pressure on the equipments heating and allows for much needed cool-time.
