how optimistic are you about them animating the war arc? im pretty scared tbh of how theyre gonna handle midnights death...
for me it depends on if toho/shueisha/the production committee in general can do three things:
give the animators a bigger gap between s5 and s6 - even an extra half-year would do wonders for the production
change timeslot to be a bit more late-night.. move out of the current kid-friendly/casual viewership prime time it has, otherwise censorship will catch up real quick
whoever decides to bring freelancers on, needs to try and look into making them more spread-out throughout the season.. i dont mean, have a group every episode since their budget might not be able to support it. but i'd like them to bring more ambitious talent into the project, even if its just for some of the main fights spread out. the mha adaptation always tends to play it very safe and very rarely brings freelancers on. i get that to some, having too many might be a sign of 'the production is going poorly, bring on freelancers to fill in the gaps'.. but at the same time, seeing some new talent work on the anime would still be good, as a personal preference. the freelancers this season have done really well.
if we got even just the first and/or second change, i think they could do fairly well. we might know more about s6 come december, so its honestly just a waiting game.
i guess im optimistic to an extent... im usually happy with whatever im given, but i hope they can really polish up the season where it counts otherwise i'll be a bit sad for big moments like deku vs shiggy
