The colors of RE_SET will be in green, white grey with red details. The color green stands for soothing nature and is in contrast with the white and grey which represents the cold and grey era we live in. Those three colors have a positive effect on the emotional wellbeing of consumers. The red details will provide as a mood booster which will influence consumers energy in a positive way.

Colorcards
The accent colors for the collection will be from the dark and grey world we live in, using white, shades of grey and black. Also, the shapes of this straight and grizzled world we live in will be implemented as the texture for the clothing (straight layers will result in quilted look).
The main colors will consist out of tones from nature, which will give rest and that calming feeling which humankind is looking for. Shades of green, white, beige and brown.
SCENARIO
Disconnect & RE_SET
We live in a futuristic world where technology has taken over. People are always connected (via phone, laptop etc.) with each other 24/7. They are always on the radar, everything is being monitored. Even when walking through the city – you get recognized by all the camera’s and the government knows all your data. Nothing is a secret anymore.
Most of the nature (climate) is destroyed by humanity. No one would listen during the times of the protests decades ago. Now, there are no signs of nature whatsoever. You cannot hear the birds chirping anymore. You can’t see the sky due to the CO2 emissions and the built skyscrapers, which make the troposphere foggy and grey. There is no possibility of getting some fresh air.
The only sounds humankind hears in a day are ringtones, people calling, ticking keyboards, the zooming of electric cars and sirens. Humans get to the same dull office everyday where they sit behind their desk from 8:00am till 6:00pm. Creative jobs exist no more. Humankind can choose from a selected number of jobs, because previous generations made sure the climate got destroyed. The world as we know it, is gone. We have to live according to the government’s regime.
As a result of all this transparency people are always inclined to being their best self – they need to have goals, need to see the world, have a strong work ethic and need to be part of a high-performance culture. Through all this perfectionism, a fake and surreal world is arisen.
All this technology, work pressure and performance culture results in overstimulated and neglected senses of humans and it increasingly amplifies our need for a defense. Times make us reach for clothes that help us feel protected.
Focus on creating protective and comfortable garments that offer built-in reassurance or resistance when you get back home at the end of the day at your humble cottage. Garments which give us the possibility to reconnect (with nature). Sit back, take a moment and RE_SET.
The intention of this concept is to disconnect and RE_SET from the hectic world we live in and to create a moment for yourself. See it as a ritual which you perform at the end of your day. These garments are able to take you back to nature by creating an experience by using sound. It gives you the possibility to go back to the ‘old’ world and be able hear sounds from nature again. Through this experience in combination with the smart natural materials, you are able to recover your emotional wellbeing. For example, like regulate your unstable body temperature with merino wool.
RE_SET brings us back to a baseline from which we can synchronize our natural body rhythms - stressing the importance of well-being.
