Let’s talk about Eva!

If you haven’t seen any recent posts about Spectrum Squad, Eva has been introduced as a side character in the webcomic. So far, we know a few things about her.

- Her name is short for Evangeline

- She’s Taiwanese 

- She’s a part of the Neon Squad, and are rivals with the Metachrome Squad.

With the bottom point, this means she’s a user with a Value (power) and a Color Code. I believe her Color Code is a color called Eminence at its saturated form.

If you look at tints #be86d2 and #cea4dd, they seem quite similar to Eva’s shirt and sunglasses.

For her Value, I believe that her power is lightning/electricity based. I believe this because of the symbolism in the background and hair shine. Before, the hair shines have been depicted as something that has to with the character themselves, so this can be a possibility.

In short: I personally believe that Eva’s color code is Eminence and has a lighting/electricity based value. Thank you for reading and I hope you have a good day!

I keep thinking about Scott and his ability to see in the future and how it fucked up so many relationships that he had.

He was 14 when he first got them, just imagine accidentally looking into the future to see how many times your friends and family will either abandon you or die in various ways and you want it to stop!

But it never does stop, and you have to learn how to control it at such a young age.

You keep only a handful of friends but you learn not to get attacted to them so easily, but it’s so hard to. This is honestly why he likes Alex and Carey so much, they don’t care about the future that much and they take their fate into their own hands.

Something that he wishes that he could do.

He also wants to have someone who he can vent to, someone who understands that he’s scared of losing people and is afraid he’ll never meet that type of person again.

But, he vents to Vien and Beau. Who both have stayed with him through thick and thin, lets him yell and cry when confronted with a terrifying future.

When he’s with them both, he isn’t as scared of the future as he normally is, and he’s fine with that.
