Chujin Ketsukane, Emperor of the Underground. (Colorshift AU)

*This bird monster is 2nd in command to Sheriff Starlo of the Royal Rangers. However, rather than direct combat, Martlet specializes in creating and overseeing almost all of the Human-obstructing puzzles throughout the underground (Mostly Snowdin).

*She spends many of her days maintaining traps and approving of obstacles constructed by her fellow guardsmen. She's described by her friends and colleagues as a workaholic, living off Coffee and insisting that the eyebags on her face means she doesn't have to spend money on eyeshadow.

*Martlet herself is reported to be laid back, doozy, and friendly with everyone she meets, and doesn't mind sharing anything about her life and hobbies to those who ask. She views trap-making as an art, and sees the underground as her canvas, and her tools as her brushes. She also does woodcarving and pencil-sketching on the side during her once-a-month day off.

*When once asked about her association/friendship with Chujin, she avoided the question. (Colorshift AU)

Ceroba, the Lady of the Ruins.

"Formerly stood with her husband on his path for vengeance. The Ex-Empress, in a fit of regret, remorse, and sorrow following an incident at the castle involving the Kindness soul, fled to the ruins to atone for her sins and to redeem herself for her choices that led to what she became. Presently, she lives her days as an aspiring pacifist, looking to find peace, help her fellow monsters... and await the next fallen human."

In short, while she was originally on board with standing by her husband to end humanity, it all changed when she had to witness the first fallen child, the Kindness soul, be killed for their plans. Her motherly instincts overpowered her sense of role and she instantly demanded that they stop at once, sighting that no path should be paved with the blood of one so young.

After a heavy fight of disagreement, heartbreak, and hurtful words, she left and exiled herself in the ruins, looking to try and redeem herself for the atrocity she played a part in.
