“Oh yeah!? What’re you like, gonna do if I don’t? Are you gonna YELL at me? Are you gonna HIT me?” Pacifica kept her tiny hands wrapped around the stolen guitar.
She really had no plans for it outside of using as a device to get under the counselor’s skin. So far David was the only grownup left that hadn’t lost it and shouted at her. Pacifica didn’t trust him- he had to be hiding something. No one was just that nice for no reason!
“What if I smash it? You’re too pathetic to do anything anyways! I bet you won’t even like, try to stop me!”
It was lifted over her head, she made direct eye contact with him- daring the man to do something. Her stomach twisted with nervousness, would this finally make him break? Would it finally make him lose it and yell at her? She wanted him to snap- wanted to see where the lines where.
send me “HUG” for my muse’s reaction to yours coming up from behind and wrapping their arms around mine’s waist.

RULES
– Please be aware that this Daniel is slightly canon-divergent.
– Feel free to antagonize him, but understand that he will lash out if backed into a corner. Wouldn’t you?
– Please understand that what Daniel does isn’t reflective of my own character.
– Please, no GodModding or killing Daniel without discussion first. I generally like to keep my characters alive and well. Injuring him is fine, so long as it’s feasible that he would be able to recover.
– You will not be able to ascend until you are pure. You can only reach purity through Daniel.
– I’m over twenty but am not comfortable with sexual situations, so that will be reflected in Daniel. However, he is more than open to - and in fact often encourages - otherwise intimate relationships with others.
– There may be other kinds of nsfw content on this blog, such as violence, language, or sensitive themes like religion or suicide. Please, if you need anything tagged, let me know and I’ll do my best to keep you safe and comfortable here.
– This blog isn’t exactly mutuals-only, but I will be using discretion with writing partners. Daniel is always open for interactions! And both of us are more than happy to answer questions, receive memes, or just talk! But threads will taken more seriously, as Daniel is a very serious character by nature.
– Patience is a virtue.
– Please remind me if I you suspect I’ve missed a reply; I’m a bit of a scatterbrain and chances are I did.
– While I’m unsure exactly how this blog would even come close to the topic, I have a zero tolerance policy on MaxVid.
–Please read my verses page closely; it’s imperative that you understand my verses, because they will ultimately determine how Daniel will be interacting with you.
–Remember: Feelings beat facts, any day.
VERSES
A God Among Men:
Daniel’s main verse. This will be the default verse unless noted otherwise or specifically requested. There is no Xemug. Daniel leads his own circle of about a hundred and fifty or so faithful followers.
Cult Camp:
Daniel as seen in Cult Camp; Here, he is a devotee of Xemug, and teaches of the war between their God and the Galactic Confederacy. In this verse, Daniel is willing and eager to cause physical harm to anyone he can get his hands on long enough.
ABOUT
About Daniel:
Daniel is a kind and charming twenty four year old man who’s dependable and resourceful, eager to lend a helping hand to his friends and raise them up when they need it most. He’s played the violin since he was six and likes to believe he’s pretty good at it! He’s always had a good ear for it and can improvise his music on the spot.
He enjoys meeting new people, and tries to stay as open and warm and approachable as possible - he hates to think that anyone would ever feel nervous or scared to come talk to him.
He’s very smart; while he officially holds a Master’s in Human Services, he’s also very knowledgeable in various studies of Political Science. Unfortunately, though, he feels he’s lacking in math.
Daniel is often impulsive and excitable despite trying to keep a level head, especially in stressful situations. He’s typically cool and calculating, and is never afraid to take a moment to assess the situation before deciding his next move. He hates when things get out of hand - he much prefers to have control over the situation.
Sanctuary of the Savior and Prophet:
Daniel and his followers adhere to a strict Edenic Diet and commit themselves to a 21-day fast once a year in January as atonement for Original Sin - the tenth day of which is spent entirely in prayer for twenty four hours with no food, water, or sleep.
Those who break their fast are prayed for and purified over the course of the next full week, Monday-Saturday, where they’re placed in a steam room and not permitted to eat or drink for the duration of their purification. They’re removed from the steam room on Sunday, fed, and integrated back into prayer.
Daily prayer happens four times a day - dawn, afternoon, during evening sermon, and night - by Praying the Scriptures, read from the Vulgate by Daniel at the pulpit.
Only those free of sin can ascend, and it’s Daniel’s job, as a prophet of God, to bring his followers to the light. His followers are commanded to come to him to confess so that they can be cleansed of their sin.
Questioning your Faith or the word of the Prophet, ungratefulness or discontent with their life under the watch of the Prophet, and partaking of false doctrines are the greatest of sins. Daniel knows when one of his followers are guilty, and approaches them personally, telling them that God has spoken of their sin to him and is willing him to help the person back into the light.
Committing this sin taints you, and you no longer have purity in your heart. The process of becoming pure again is a grueling isolation in which the sinner is baptized every evening after prayer, submerged in a basin. Daniel takes care of them after every baptizing, making sure they feel safe under his watch until God has forgiven them. They must start over in their devotion and their journey towards purity and the privilege of ascension.
The only time Daniel doesn’t conduct evening sermon is when God has told him that one of his followers has become pure, and has been chosen for ascension. It’s a very personal affair where Daniel and the individual in question retreat to a private room where he prays for their safe ascension and pours their wine, laced with cyanide. In the next few hours preceding their death, he prays over them as they ascend.

Daisy, have you written a dystopian or utopian story before?
Hmm. I wouldn’t really say so? The Arcadian Queen and its subsequent books have dystopian elements when the 2000 Year War comes to a close, but no sort of full-fledged,"end-of-the-world” sort of stuff. Well, not since the revision, at least!!
