Well,.. After 1 year at the Best Western Sicamous Inn, I have sadly put in my notice. I'm so happy to have been given such an amazing job opportunity. I've learned so much and met sooo many amazing people; coworkers & guests.. but our current house is being put on the market. So Colton and I are headed to Kamloops this weekend to get the keys to our new apartment. I am SO, so excited, but so sad to be leaving such an amazing job. Better make the best of our last summer here in Sicamous and at the Best Western <3 These places have treated me well.

Got off work last night and came across a car rolled over in the ditch just seconds after it had happened. With my dad on the Fire Department for 15 years, and me being my dads little side-kick, he always used to test me asking, "What do you do now? What number do you call?" Ext (before the times of 911 lol). And it payed off. I had to give myself a little pep talk before getting out of the truck, but held it together. Luckily the man was not hurt, just shaken up.. It definitely could have been a lot worse. My dad taught me everything he possibly could have and more, and it pays off every single day heart emoticon

I am so happy to have found the person I want to spend the rest of my life with ..❤ Someone who loves me unconditionally, through thick & thin. Someone who always has my back no matter what,.. someone who understands all of my weaknesses and doesn't see them as weaknesses at all. Someone who is funny, and understanding and strong. And that someone just happens to want to want to spend the rest of his life with me as well. That makes me the luckiest girl in the world. I love you, Colton Dick. 1.5 hour walk around the Malakwa Nature Park which is a beautiful temperate forest with my amazing boyfriend and Sam <3 We've been walking/hiking at least an hour a night and Sam has been SO good off leash no matter where we are. I'm a proud momma

Finaaally hoome. I had the best, most special weekend in Lillooet with my other half! I started work this month with thinking I wasn't going to make it down for my dad's Birthday, but the odds were in our favor and we were able to make it down without him having a clue!! So much planning and sneaking around went into this trip, but the look of shock on his face was well worth it. A night of drinking beers and bullshitting followed by a beautiful Saturday out West Pavilion quadding. We got as many visits in as physically possible but the weekend just wasn't long enough.. Thank you to everybody who made this amazing weekend so perfect. Happy Birthday, Dad 💚💜💛 and until next time Lillooet ✌

Well, its a little late but better late than never! Happy Birthday to my amazing boyfriend who turned 25 today 😀 I am soo proud of you, Colton. For who are were, who you have become, and for all that you've done in your 25 years of living. I cannot ask for a better, more supportive partner. And everyday I am so happy and lucky to have found you in the time that I did ❤😍 I love you baby. Happy Birthday 🎂
