Victory lap, development/ ideas for film project.
60 Seconds final review
It was interesting to hear other perspectives of a piece of work we had spent 3 weeks working on. One said it reminded them of a home video, a family video, it was intimate, you got a sense of loss from the film, and it was very feminine in the connotations and overall colour scheme. Kim thought the split screen represents how we todays generation see the world on the computer, how we consume information over many screens. Overall really insightful.
Did Beautiful, collaborative project based on The Tenth of December by George Saunders.
Arctic Monkeys - Do I Wanna Know? (Official Video) Creating a visual rhythm to match Alisons ballet words, a more subtle way to reference the ballet terms. Although beautiful, this video is quite crude, using dots or inconsistent lines would be a better way to bring in this type of element.
