Axiomtek announced the release of its CEM521, a COM Express Type 6 module powered by the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 processor or Intel Celeron processor 4305UE (Whiskey Lake-U). It operates under harsh operating conditions with an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F). The 4K-ready system-on-module is suitable for graphics-intensive Industrial IoT applications, including industrial control systems, medical imaging, digital signage, gaming machines, military, and networking.

Powered by an Intel Atom E3900 Series processor, the COM-APLC6 is designed for modern Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications. The module features two SODIMM sockets that support DDR3L-ECC memory. The CPU’s graphics capabilities are intended for this controller to be used in medical imaging applications.
