#com's thoughts #i am like half-expecting it to start giving some explanations/introducing things to explain previous things #but i also don't wanna expect something that isn't guaranteed cuz i know i'll just disappoint myself lol #but 3 has been shaping up to be an important number within the show so like... multiples of 3 theory... /silly

honestly, memory lane was/is probably the best episode to get people hooked onto the bob brickface show/be the first episode they watch as it contains most all the vital aspects of the show. all the main characters serve important(ish) roles, it displays the show's overall humor and editing style pretty well, it's a little bit scary, and it has the awesome ost ofc. the only thing it really doesn't include is a song sung by a character and not just bg music but that's fine it makes up for that by having the memory lane ost. also it's overall just an engaging episode

anyways my point is that memory lane should pop up in people's recommendations again and get people hooked on the show and get more eyes on it plz

#com's thoughts #and here are very short reasons as to why the other episodes wouldn't be the best choice for a person's intro to tbbs #new neighbors: not as engaging as memory lane i don't think it serves as a good pilot/episode to get people engaged w/ tbbs #smiggly dimple: lack of fred even though he's a main character #where's zippy: lack of zippy even though he's a main character. also just an overall confusing episode #babysitter: although it's the best episode i feel like if someone were to watch it first they'd watch the rest of tbbs with the #expectation that all of tbbs is like that and then get disappointed cuz the lore/scary bits haven't been in tbbs for that long. also #doesn't have the proper intro cuz of aforementioned lore/scary bits #yeah just wanted to put these thoughts down somewhere
