@combat_dollies very kindly sent me the smaller size to try. You may remember I bought myself two pairs of the 4XL which I absolutely fell in love with but they just felt a little loose around the bum and tum. This pair is a 3XL and I must say the fit is tonnes better. The material is designed to be a snug fit as compression leggings are meant to aid blood flow, reduce muscle fatigue and prevent strain. The 4XL is just a little too loose to provide any of those benefits. The 3XL gives a more supportive feeling, it also gives the butt a nice little lift and the drawstring waist means no rolling down or bowing in the back! My hips are 49" My waist is 37" I'm usually a size 18/20 in regular clothes however in sports leggings I tend to size down to a 16/18 for a snug fit. The 3XL is way better for my measurements and they go up to a 6XL. You tell me...if you can't correctly guess the colour of my undies then I would pretty much say they're pretty solid.
