@combatzoned gets a valentine's day starter from nikki bella.

for the past few weeks, nicole had been flirting with jon. whether it be over text messages or seeing him in person. nobody in her family knew this was going on because if they had, brie would never let her hear the end of it. but nikki wasn't about to let her sister come between her relationships, not again. that had been the whole reason why she had been a certain way towards her and why that fight had happened. they were still talking but nikki couldn't let her sister know what she was doing, who she was talking to and frankly it wasn't any of her business anyway. she was expecting jon for a valentine's day lunch and it would only be the two of them. nicole had made up something to keep brie away for the day especially on this day. sipping her red wine, she heard a knock at the door and she hoped it had been jon. anyone else she would directly send them away.

i glanced down at kenshin as he trotted beside me , his ears perked up and his fluffy tail wagging like he had absolutely NO WORRIES in the world. the second tatiana’s voice cut through the air , his head tilted , already curious about the new attention.

“ is that a puppy ? ” she asked , eyes locked onto him with clear amusement.

i huffed out a small laugh , crouching down to ruffle kenshin’s soft fur. “ nah , he just looks like one. he’s a kooikerhondje — small , but full-grown. still acts like a puppy , though. always bouncing around , getting into things he shouldn’t. i swear , i’ve never seen a dog with this much energy. ”

kenshin , almost on cue , wagged his tail even harder , looking up at tatiana like he was waiting for an invitation to say hello. i already knew how this would go. he’d charm her in seconds , just like he did with everyone. it was impossible not to like him — his goofy little face , the way he always seemed to be grinning.

“ he’s super friendly , @combatzoned ” i added , standing back up. “ wanna say hi ? he’ll probably try to convince you to be his new best friend. ”

“ well @combatzoned , if we manage to pull off a super bowl win , i’m definitely going to be excited — it’s something we’ve all worked so hard for. but if i’m being honest , i’m not really the type to jump right into the spotlight for a flashy celebration. it’s not that i don’t appreciate the moment ; it’s just that i like things structured and . . . calm. i’d probably start by celebrating with my team in the locker room , you know , taking a minute to congratulate each other , acknowledge all the effort we put in.

after that , though , i’d probably just head home to savor it all in peace. i know a lot of people think a big party is the way to go when you win the super-bowl , but i’ve never been huge on the scene unless i’m actually out on the field. ”

There is not much of a relationship to begin with when you have to agree on things like that, or at least he thinks so. Roman thinks a lot of things, but rarely ever voices the thoughts gnawing at the back of his mind. Doesn't know why it's easier to be silent and just wrinkle his nose and raise his eyebrow than it is to actually open his mouth and speak. ❝Yeah, we did, didn't we.❞ Still, the hand he's put on Jon's leg does not move. ❝But I'm not doing anything, am I ? ❞
