Some Eponine/Combeferre Stuff
Eponine is introduced to Combeferre by Grantaire, and is immediately blown away by how courteous he is
Chivalry is definitely not dead for Combeferre; he holds the door for Eponine, insists on paying for dinner, and does whatever he can for her
They sneakily email each other cute things while in class
Ferre ruthlessly protects Eponine from creepy guys, and although Eponine says she doesn’t need help, she still secretly appreciates Ferre’s devotion
Eponine forwards a bunch of articles to Ferre that she thinks he would like
Ferre has a sort of radar for knowing when Eponine is feeling low, so he brings her the most beautiful bouquets he can find
Eponine sleeps like a starfish on top of Ferre so he can’t leave early in the morning like he ofte does
Ferre helps Eponine gain custody over her siblings
Eponine studies with Ferre so that he can pass his exams in med-school
Ferre is always willing to comfort Eponine after her parents do something trashy
They have the most romantic date nights
Ferre jokingly flirts with Eponine in different languages, and Eponine finds it amazing, even if she can’t understand what he’s saying (but she can guess his motives by the way his eyebrows shift up and down, and by the gleam in his eyes)
ESKIMO KISSES!!!!
Eponine throws Ferre celebratory parties (nothing big, usually just cooking Ferre’s favorite foods and doing whatever Ferre’s in the mood for) after he passes his tests
Ferre takes frequent trips with Gavroche and Azelma so they can see cool things like museums and parks because he knows that their parents never did this much for them, and that Eponine is wearied by taking care of them for so long
Eponine has a stockpile of blankets for when Ferre inevitably hogs the covers
Every Monday night, after stressful days of school, Ferre chooses a movie he thinks Eponine will enjoy, although Eponine almost always falls asleep in his arms
Eponine is the person to go to when Ferre is anxious about things
Ferre carries Eponine bridal style without complaint when she gets tired of walking or is just looking for something fun
Lots of cuddling
When making tea/coffee, Ferre never hesitates to make Eponine a cup too
Eponine could listen to Ferre babbling about space for hours, and she loves every second of it
