Oh, well... I am currently in a small personal artblock, so I made sketch Combine!Barney from @eldritchinsect... And wow, I love it.

Here is the first concept I have of my Cobine!Gordon. He is wearing an Overwatch Elite uniform that is similar to the HEV suite.

I have also developed backstory to this so I guess its considered an au thanks to my overly active brain. I will gladdly talk about the story if you wish for me to explain! Don’t be scared to ask questions about it!

I will make a full body, I just had to get the basic facial markings and stuff down first.

What would happen if Resistance Hunter combine Gordon meets a combine barney?

It depends. Which verson of Resistance Hunter Gordon are we talking?

Inside the Elite HEV suit: probably nothing tbh maybe give him orders to do stuff.

Outside the suit: He’d be a little causious while wanting to tackle hug him at the same time.

Memory wipped: Dude is mentally dead and probably isn’t aware of anything-

All yall out here talking about Cobine!Barney. But there is no one really talking about Combine!Gordon.

And I aint talking about Gordon but with a Combine mask on, nah... I’m talking about Gordon in halflife 2 showing up in Breen’s office instead of the station. Breen convinces Gordon that the combine is good, and eventually brainwashes Gordon. Maybe even puts some combine robot parts in him so they can control his thoughts better? He’d do broadcasts and physical appearences in the city. All of which catches the resistance’s attention.

And you know there would be some freehoun in this, and some good angst between Barney and Gordon.

I have lots of thoughts about this. I could turn this whole thing into an AU tbh. Feel free to talk to me about it, share some of your head cannons and thoughts on it!
