It's starting to look a lot like Christmas.

The Doctor had gotten a Christmas tree. It was a very nice tree, although the only problem was that it was much too big for the door. It was huge. Huge was an understatement and he cursed himself while he dragged it closer and loser to the house; it had fit into the TARDIS, but now the door to the house was much too small. Human were so primitive. "Come on, ye' thick sod- jus' fit- please!"

"Well- time t' reclaim wha's mine then?" The Doctor soundlessly ran his hand over the blue doors of his TARDIS, softly pulling away the chipping paint that reminded him that she'd need a new paint job soon. It was no way to treat a lady, letting her get all chipped and such. He'd gone almost a week without her and went on foot around the city, but now he would need to use it's time traveling properties. He'd missed his friends.

He was scared that she'd get all rusted with her constant need to be in action, but as he parked her when he got to his destination, he found that she worked even better. Maybe he'd been working her too hard. Stepping from the box, a large grin played on his features. He no longer felt the gloom that filled up his lungs, and wrung his neck. He felt good for once. The air was brisk though, and in his thick hoodie, the Doctor looked about.
