Jesus intercedes for us…
Not because we deserve it, but because of His great love for us. I am moving into a week of prayer and fasting. Jesus told us that following Him meant to take up my cross. He says in Living Scripture that in this world I will face troubles. But He also encourages us that I don't have to be afraid because Jesus has overcome sin and death on my behalf. He is kind to tell me honestly what following will entail.
