Last night my wife and I went to the Comedy Fort in Fort Collins, Colorado—and what we witnessed was absolutely vile. Comedian Nate Craig, who just wrapped a Las Vegas run at MGM, stood on stage and made so-called “jokes” about the death of Charlie Kirk. He actually implied the wrong person died—saying Donald Trump should have died instead.
That isn’t edgy comedy. That’s cruelty. Charlie Kirk left behind a grieving wife and two small children. To turn that into material for laughs is inhumane, heartless, and disgusting.
As if that wasn’t enough, Craig also attacked Christianity with more garbage “jokes.” My wife and I got up and walked out. No decent person should sit through that filth, let alone laugh at it.
And here’s the kicker: Nate Craig is scheduled to perform TWO more shows tonight, September 13th, at the Comedy Fort in Fort Collins. How this city—or anyone—tolerates this kind of disgusting humor and utter lack of empathy is beyond me.
Shame on Nate Craig. Shame on the Comedy Fort for giving him a stage. If this is what passes for entertainment in Fort Collins, then the Comedy Fort has turned itself into a gutter.
