Mongolian winters are brutally cold. But the most uncool thing for a teenager to do in the winter (at least when I was an adolescent) was to dress and look warm. Walking with no hat and with jacket unzipped was proof of endless swagger. And one of the most uncool hats was this mink fur hat.
