So the idea here was to make the last panel look like a story told on pottery. In retrospect the elf's final pose looks a bit too much like a jrpg victory pose.

I was so worried about that center panel. How to show elemental chaos? I was thinking that maybe I should draw a Vinculum which is a concentration of one element. It would have simplified things but It would have lost that state of chaos seen above.
Alternatively it could have been more talking heads.
I still feel a bit odd about having that in eye for the last panel but given the characters panic I think I can forgive myself.

Lettering at last!
My friend Meg introduced me to http://www.myscriptfont.com/, a site that lest you convert your writing to a font.

(For now I won't be adding font to the other pages until I get to the flats)
Currently Mariesa sends me scans of her pencils, I print them on 7x11 paper, tape another piece of printer quality paper to it, and ink the mess on a lightbox.
Unfortunately this means that I don't have good quality inks I can sell later if I wanted. This does spare me some guilt when I completely mess up.
In panel 4 I inked an extra line through Ver'gs eye when my grip slipped. So in a moment of haste I redrew the eye in the margin and transplanted it on the tiff file.

I have a bad habit of when I'm planning drawing something as a thumbs that I have no idea how I'm going to do in full scale.
Fortunately Mariesa had no problem with it.
If it isn't clear Ver'gs is using his wind magic to suspend sand around his finger.
A perceptive Eye might notice rough lines on two of the bricks in panel 1. I was trying to see if I could shade them a bit at the overlap without flattening out the look of the brick. I don't think it really worked though so I bailed after a couple of tries.

At two hours before my alarm went off I woke up so completely I couldn't get back to sleep so I chose to work on this page.
I was working on the fire place and I drifted off a little, My hand slipped and the brush fell over and added the line trailing Cerys' left leg. This inspired me to give it up and try to sleep and try and fix it in photoshop after work.
With the picture done I like the line, so I left it.
There are also two lines on Cerys' dress that came from less out of control moments.
