Webcomic Feature!
Today's feature is Cave Cruciatum, a gorgeous and super fun historical collaboration comic by the lovely and super sweet duo of Coefore and Psamathes.
Set in 11th Century Turkey, Cave Cruciatum is the story told by Zarif, a man who suffers crippling agoraphobia, of his first encounter (and later adventures) with Edward, a Crusader.
Firstly, the art is SO PRETTY and expressive, the variation in faces is wonderful. The comic is also in full color. It is seriously beautiful. And I don't know about you, but this definitely sweetened the pot for me: A BL with men over 18, complete with beards?? Pinch me.
Also, a big thing that appealed to me personally was the careful attention to historical accuracy and language. History fans are in for a treat.
