The last (and my personal favourite) cosplay event I attended in 2K14 Comic Fiesta, KLCC Kula Lumpur 26-28 December. #throwbackmonday

I kind of forgot about this and it was still sitting in my drafts. To me after-con selfies are the best kind of selfies, because your hair is all kinds of goofed up when the wigs come off plus you have some funky colour smash make up game going on. Clicky for captions x

So Jo and I have been a little busy lately, but we haven't forgotten about tumblr! And before the end of every year we travel to Kuala Lumpur for the very epic Comic Fiesta Convention. So instead of photos, I did some Video coverage this time- while Jo cosplayed obviously. It's a 2 day event held at KLCC and It's just so much fun, especially with equally crazy ass friends. Hope you guys like this one too ;D Stay tune for part 2!!

Me and CF: A road to improving oneself #1 Doujin Artist Me

- I learned about telling and showing (your script is important!), don't assume your readers know what you are thinking but also don't treat them like children. Author's note, i will try to put in some next time. - white outlines are important to make the picture stand out. - bubbles.... put the words in the bubble but not to close to the line... it makes reading easier. - Color - I learned from a 16 year old. She's awesome ok. If she can color so can i! Practice makes perfect! - Drawing style. I got loads more to learn. but so far I can do line art the traditional way. If i have time... I will try using the computer. - story wise: I tend to do humour or as i like to call it 'cracks stories'. Let's try all sort of theme! Variety is good.

- Cosplans are good... If you don't have a group, it's fine. Just go and get pictures with other people.  - Do what you can... Just do it. If it doesn't turn out the way you want, do it again. hahah. - Making props with friends are the best. Thank you Tashigi Amateurasu. - cosplay the characters you like.  - Hijabis can cosplay too! - Manning the booth and cosplay is hard, so cosplay something comfortable. Comfort!

Me and CF: A road to improving oneself #3 Booth Guardian

- It's confusing at first to man the booth and talk to people and do a lot of things at the same time, but it can be done. It'll get easier as you do it. Like riding a bike.  - and you get to talk to people too. - a schedule is good but I have to follow it! (Why you no follow the schedule iza!?) - Arranging items is a skill i have to learn and master. (Where's that comic about booths and event... I need that!) - Other groups are very kind. It's a whole new world behind the table!

Me and CF: A road to improving oneself #4 Crazy Comic Lady

- Set an amount, spend that amount! No more jumping the gun and blindingly buy all the comics you see. - I need to limit my shopping spree... Yeah I love comics... but i need to put a line of where i must stop buying. - Badges are cool but i have to resist. I won't use them all anyway. - Art Prints are cool but cool as it is, there are just some that doesn't speak to me... Though i have warned Chi Arielucia that i'm gonna draw the hands she cut of from her drawing.. muehehehe. Yes, I have a purpose of buying prints, i buy them.

edit: - No Art books too! It's nice and all but it's not official and honestly iza, what are you going to do with it? - No silent comics too! - Original comic... limit it too! I am not Batman... or Ironman.

- Promises aren't meant to be brokeeeeen!!! - Next time you make a promise, carve it into your skin and follow it! - Saying i'm not going to buy any prints or badges meant not buying any prints or badges! Don't buy it just because it's that game you like! - Dang it Iza. When are you going to learn??

- I dont remember if i have ever done an Art Trade before or not. But Yay! I will do one this year with Vien Oneesama, Tashigi Amateurasu and Chi Arielucia! XD

-Doujins are usually the aim but i need to make the story more general so that my family may also read and understand without having to watch the series.

- why? Because i just bought ghost stories and i can't part with even though i'm a scaredy cat!  - why are some comics so cute but sad!? Why are they so small and expensive? Why do you not browse properly Iza? Why?

(In my defense, i wasn't into it on that day. But that's a lousy excuse! The day they separated the stage and art-booths was the day i wasn't into talking about comics? Dang it Iza! Get a grip!)

-also certain doujins runs out fast on the first day. Who knew. Certainly not I.
