Daisuke is attacked by Kaibutsu - the original Japanese version and the Comicsone’s English translated version
Jerome is creepy on his first appearance!
I shall name this puppy...Weed!
(Note: This is the English translation by ComiscOne)
Sorry, Lenny, your son Mel is in another castle (or rather, somewhere else as a stray)...
(Note: This is the English translation by ComiscOne)
Even with ComicsOne’s wonky translation, this scene is still heartbreaking when Ken clung onto the falling Kagetora like a chain.
* ’The Chain’ by Fleetwood Mac starts playing in the background *
In the ComicsOne version, GB calls Golby the spoilt husky 'Pussycat’ while he’s trying to recruit Hook into helping Weed and Lenny save Mel from Blue. In the scanlated version, GB said to Golby "You, a coward? Just eat shit and die already!"
Today I found an English Translated Ginga Legend Weed volume
I did not know these existed. They seem balls rare. Company is ComicsOne.
It's Volume 3, between from when Smith meets Mel, and ends at the group jumping the cliff and getting to Kaibutsu (Jerome's crew is still alive).
Any Ginga tag trackers out there have more info on this translated run?
