Comic Loki Masterpost Rating: Meh
Plot:
Plot A: Thor v Grey Gargoyle.
Plot B: Loki tries to kill Balder.
Favorite Moments:
Because of previous plot, Thor likes Jane but he’s worried that Jane doesn’t like Blake because he thinks that Jane thinks that Blake betrayed Thor. Blake turns into Thor and talks with Jane and Jane tries to protect Blake because she still likes Blake, so Thor flies away and does this.
MY GIRLFRIEND STILL LIKES ME. WHOO
Thoughts on Comic:
Another okay Thor Comic. The character development between Thor/ Blake and Jane is pretty cute. Thor gets to use some of his skills to defeat the Gargoyle.
Loki’s tries to kill Balder and gets foiled by the Norn queen. Fairly standard Evil Loki stuff.
Journey Into Mystery - Vol 104 - Loki Comic Read Through
Classic Loki Masterpost Rating: Meh
Plot: Odin goes to Midgard to talk to Thor about Jane. Loki’s uses Odin’s absence, tries to take the throne of Asgard, and sends three of his friends to play with Odin and Thor.
Favorite Moments:
Odin goes to Midgard to talk with Thor about Jane an is just causally walking around when some thugs try to rob him.
I think Odin’s response is pretty justified.
FINALLY ON DADDY’s THRONE. XD
He looks just so happy.
Thoughts on the Comic:
Odin showing up on Earth is kinda fun when he beats up on thugs. Thor and Odin versus Loki’s friends is always interesting fight pieces. Overall, OK Thor comic. Loki takes the throne, sends his friends and then complains that they all suck. The image of Loki on the Throne is fun though.
Journey Into Mystery - Vol 103 - Loki Comic Read Through
Classic Loki Masterpost Rating: Meh
Plot: Odin is mad the Thor still loves Jane. Loki decides to send a more “appropriate” date to Thor. Still doesn’t go well.
Favorite Moments:
Loki and Amora hardcore flirting, but ultimately saying no.
Amora gets Skurge to kill Jane, but Skurge gets distracted by the prospect of lifting up the hammer.
So Amora turns him into a tree.
Thoughts on Comic:
The fight between Thor and Skurge isn’t really all that interesting, but Thor does still get to show off his good nature.
Loki shows up for like 5 panels. Except for the flirting between him and Amora, its just another instance of Loki getting mad at Thor and sending one of Loki’s friends to him.
At least this date had a prettier girl and more fights than his last date with robots and an old man so that’s something.
