The Most Memorable Cosplayer: Comikaze 2012
The best cosplayer I met that year wasn't wearing an elaborate costume; they were wearing something totally simple. I met them in the lobby of the Los Angeles Convention Center at Comikaze 2012, and they immediately challenged me to a dance-off. Naturally, I lost!
What made the biggest impression wasn't the loss, but their sheer energy. For over a decade, I didn't know who they were cosplaying. It turns out it was Flik from DDR X2. This moment truly taught me that you don't need a huge, epic build to make a lasting impression on people. It's all about bringing good times and good vibes.
I'm so intimidated by
all the hot and beautiful girls I see will be attending Comikaze. Bleh. If only I had the looks and the body. :(
