The whumpee drags himself, injured and weak-limbed, from a body of water. He coughs and sputters as he makes it to the stony shore. Then he collapses. He tries to lift himself, but he’s too tired; too hurt. He loses consciousness as the water laps at his body. That’s how his team finds him. (Collapse-and-Comfort)
You can feel the exhaustion coming off this in waves :)
