In an attempt to be more visible for my community I came out to two people this week. Both were spur of the moment and both went better than I had hoped. One was a co worker and the other was a coach at the gym I go to. I had been thinking a lot about how me not living more out was doing more harm to the #trans community than good. I realize that I’m not easily read as trans and that has helped me be stealth in many areas of my life but it’s also harder and harder to tip toe around the truth about my kids and just who I am. Hi! My name is charlie, I am thirteen years old soon to be fourteen on december 15th. I am a trans ftm and basically am having troubles coming out to my family... Can someone give me tips onto coming out? My dad is somewhat transphobic and so is most of my family, so i need tips for an appropriate approach! cx But thank you!
