Commander tags are a meaningless fashion statement

It used to be people with commander tags would take charge more often than not.  Though there's always been a few who got it to say, "Look how rich I am!" but now that the commander tags are going up in price a ton of people are getting them.  And instead of using them to rally people like they're intended, they just run around wearing them like a piece of jewelry. 

I have to say that's one of my biggest pet peeves, people who just leave commander tags on all the time, and get mad if actual commanding commanders ask them to take them down.  And I've seen this more than once in WvW, people with fashion commander tags arguing with actual commanders.  Telling the commanders, "I don't have to take my tag down, I paid for it." but then get mad when people rally to them.

I used to take pride in my commander tags, now I regret spending money on them.
