Who: Peter & @commanderlestrangeā
When: February 29, 1980
Where: Hogwarts by Slughornās Supply Closet
A bead of sweat began to form on his forehead.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Lily and himself had been searching the lower levels of the castles. It made sense that she had gravitated to the potionās supply closet. She had been so gifted at potions that she would know what to grab. Which left him with the terrifying task of standing lookout. So far the endeavor had been quiet, but that didnāt mean that it was going to continue to be so. Trouble seemed to pop up in the most peculiar of places, and the now-abandoned castle did not feel any safer. He rubbed the back of his neck, glancing over his shoulder at Lily when he felt like he heard something at the end of the hall. His lips quirked downward, The rest of the group was scattered around the castle, and none of them were supposed to meet Lily and him downward.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Peter went to walk away from the closet, telling Lily softly that he thought he might have heard something. Perhaps it was his nerves, or the idle peeves playing a trick. Either of those would be a preferable scenario to what awaited him. It was the figure of a woman who he recognized all too well. There were few people that sparked enough fear into him as Bellatrix was able to conjure, although she was masked there were few others who had held such a demeanor. It was a guess at the moment, but one that seemed plausible to his worried mind. He made himself flat against the stone wall, hiding in one of the shadows. Slowly his hand found his wand in his pocket. Peter was trying to imagine the scenarios that could take place. In each and everyone there seemed to be a power imbalance that he would be unable to overcome.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā He had half a mind to call out for Lily, but that didnāt seem wise either. Not only would it pull her from her task, but it would only endanger her further. Which meant that he was left with the insurmountable task of having to face her himself. He was sure there was a way out of this. Peter just hadnāt thought of it yet.
