Supply Convoy to Astrannar

Report Summary:
A majority of supplies from our time in Feralas and other Wargear had been placed in Astrannar over the time we spent on our time moving to the city in Ashenvale. One last shipment of supplies had yet been sent. Medical, Herbal and other direly needed supplies were part of this shipment. Windshear Hold and other Kaldorei outposts could not spare anymore troops to escort any longer. A squad of Riders was sent in their stead to finish the convoys trip. Corporal Starfeather took command of the Convoy’s defense and left Windshear Hold at the scheduled time. Upon their departure nearing the border of the Windshear Crag they were ambushed by a band of Wolf Riders. A small skirmished ensured, minor wounds taken before the orcs were slain. Further down the road they reported a wounded scout under the service of Lord Fallowmere of Windshear Hold. The scout reported of a large tauren with antlers attacked him out of no where. His saber giving its life to safe its rider. The scene of the aftermath was, bloody to say at least. No further sight of said ambushed was scene. But a sudden rock slide hints at said individual might have followed the convoy into Ashenvale. Due to the rock slide mentioned above, the convoys rider was dismounted and the caravan animal had taken off. Taking nearly an entire bell for the unit to chase and soothe the creature in order to be taken back to Astrannar. Supplies were delivered only several moments late then planned. With the unit fully supplied now we may start our mission in Ashenvale.
Officer Notes:
Corporal Starfeather: Provided excellent aerial recon, keeping unit safe from ambushes whilst crossing the Black Wolf River. Although was very hesitant in giving an commands. Not showing incentive needed. Such will be addressed shortly. All three of the new fledglings proved to be excellent combatants. Stillforest is well trained in a variety of arms and magic. Even more so in the healing arts, allowing the wounded scout to report back in alive. Presten commands the loyalty of his bird and is a well trained shot. Meanwhile Moonsongs Sentinel training shows in her combat. Her combat prowess will aid the other frontline fighters such as myself and Stormcrest well. It is highly possible the unit was followed by the Highmountian Ambusher. It is unknown if he acts alone or not. Patrols were doubled by our aerial riders around Astrannar, take caution in all future missions within the region. ——————————————————————————————————- Note all reports by the Wing Commander and other Officers of the Wings of Kalimdor may only be seen by the Officers and Enlisted personnel of the unit.
