I cannot stand pompous liberals being like "Hmm I think there should be a political intelligence test before you vote! We have too many people who don't know anything voting"
Like okay since you think you're So Much Smarter than everyone else, can you tell me what the words Jim Crow Literacy Tests means to you? Can you explain to the class the consequences of the government enforcing intelligence based testing for Citizens to have basic rights?
Random pins from my collection
Being anti-communist should really be common sense at this point. There have been numerous attempts at a communist nation and they have either failed or are failing. It's a bit of insanity to keep trying to repeat this thinking you will have different results. Human nature inherently causes Communism to fail from the start.
Funny Valoris prompt where our granddads are in Vienna and discover that people use to say that “communists eat children” and they don’t know what to think.
It seems to me that the big examples of why "communism" is bad is just very late stage capitalism with an appropriative title.
A handful of people being super rich and everyone else starving to give them more wealth isn't any approximation of communism or socialism; it's the only forseeable result of capitalism.
What about like leftist Tinder, not for like dating but organising.
Like here are some leftists near you have a chat, see if you agree on things, become friends or at least associates, work together start/join an org, do revolutionary things.
Like I’ve seen organising for lgbt stuff happen via apps like Grindr and Her, there’s potential there.
