I will be honest i WOULD like to take commissions again but mixing studying and work doesn't give me time to even generally draw, so commissions go in the box untill i will brush the dust from it

I'm glad tho there's people who appreciate my art and want to commission me, it really makes me happy even tho lately i don't post as much<3

I'm not super gung-ho on the idea of keeping prices to myself until someone messages me. I have never done that in the past with my commissions, but there is usually little to no interest in them- so I was thinking about it?

I have seen other artists do that when I was on instagram, but I know I personally like seeing prices on commission sheets publicly.

What do you think?

Hi there!

So I've been doing commissions on and off for a long time (10 ish years for me!) so I'm not sure what it's like to start out now but this is what I did!

I started by doing giveaways to promote myself and eventually when I got more of a following, I started charging.

I started off cheap and slowly worked my way up in price and now I can do commissions for £100+ (dependent on what the customer wants of course)

I also offer repeat customers a discount too.

Make sure you have a good price list to show exactly what you're charging for and what you will draw vs what you won't.

There are discord groups for artists too where you can advertise your commissions and it's worth branching out in different fandoms too showing what you can do to draw more attention.

Are you the one who does the portaits and character art for CR or just a lover of the art? (As everyone should be its amazing)

And if it is the former do you accept comissions in the same style??

And yes I would happily do commissions in that style for people. I'm not currently accepting any big orders like that but my wait list for January/February is open and I'm happy to talk about projects via email or DM.

I've been sitting on ko-fi memberships for months but I'm not confident enough to launch reward tiers just yet but I'm thinking about launching first two teirs (3 and 5eur) at least.

Would there actually be an interest in joining either of them? I'd aim to open them somewhere in February

The reason I don't want to launch reward tiers just yet is that 'd rather have a stable job first to know how much time can I realistically put into them.
