"After everything I've done, and you're still here. Why?" from Keigo
These damn hero's. Always so quick to focus on their flaws, but never the positive things.
How many people did they save?
How many hours did they spend focused on everyone else's problems. All while ignoring or forgetting about their own?
Who had the heroes backs when they felt at a lost? Who was there to remind them of the fact that they weren't just some actors on a stage. Behind the costumes and persona's they were people. Capable of flaws. Capable of worries and fears.
Rima had a lot of respect for heroes who used their quirks to help others. It was the entire reason she picked the support side.
She wanted to be the support THEY needed. Anything to take just a little bit of worries away.
She would do it for any hero, but for Keigo. Things were a little different.
She watched the way he interacted with her daughter. The way he put so much energy into his work.
And YET he still seemed oblivious to one specific thing.
She took in a breath to steady her emotions. This was the kind of thing she Wasn't the best at. Smaller emotions were easier than stronger ones.
"It's because I am in Love with you. Dummy." She said it a little more aggressively then needed. Perhaps one to many hours spent at Endeavor's agency was at fault. Or the insult the question carried hit a few sore spots.
"And I would never be the kind of person to just turn my back on someone I care about. You aren't a tool to be cast aside over mistakes, you are a person. Messing up is kind of part of the package." she moved a hand up to rub away a wet spot on her cheek.
"You don't deserve that kind of treatment, and I know for a fact Miko wouldn't be happy if I did that to you. That girl ADORES you."
