Marriage
The wife and I had a commitment ceremony back in NC in 2002. Long before it was fashionable for queer folks to tie the knot. We didn't call it a wedding or a marriage back then. We rented a beautiful old inn in Black Mountain. Invited a few of our closest friends and family. My sister performed the ceremony. Not sure what all the other guests thought. No one said a word. We just got the VHS tape of the ceremony and celebration put on dvd. And we're gonna watch it with our 3 kids. How times have changed!
