Common Baskettail (Epitheca cynosura) in Long Point this weekend. The first photo shows a Dragonfly with its wings folded up above its back like the Damselflies. This is because this Dragonfly adult has recently emerged from its larval skin (the larvae are aquatic predators). Once it opens its wings (like the Dragonfly adult in the next picture) they will remain horizontal for the rest of its life.
