Still struggling with events in Ukraine I painted another piece which depicts a young woman swallowing a Nightingale(this is the national animal of Ukraine which is known for it’s sweet and beautiful song). The words are from a famous Ukrainian poet, Lesya Ukrainka and I thought it was a very beautiful addition to this piece.
