Commonsense Organics are celebrating 30 years and for at least the past 10 years Stella has worked at @commonsenseorganics as a valued member of the team. I can’t remember exactly what year she got the job but she got it all by herself by walking into the shop and asking if she could work there. Mum shopped there a lot 😍 I remember Mum telling me Stel was worried when they took a while to get back to her. When they finally they explained the reason for the delay was that yes they’d love to take her on but it was important to them that it was more than just work experience. They wanted to do it right and pay her. And then when Mum passed away they offered Stel an extra shift if she wanted it, which was so helpful because it has given her more purpose and community and earn for herself. Thank you Commonsense for having such a great work culture, for always being inclusive and for doing the right thing by everything you do.
