Who are you?
Daniel LaCoste! I am in my third year of Computer Science and I’m originally from Nanton, AB!
Which of Norquay, Brewster, Castle have you lived in? Which years?
Norway during the 2014-2015 academic year. This is my third year living in residence and my first year as a community advisor.
What song reminds you of your time in the Norquay?
I can’t narrow down to a specific song, but the entire album “So Long, See You Tomorrow” by Bombay Bicycle Club reminds me of my time in Norquay. I saw BBBC in concert at the start of the year in MacHall with some residents from my building and it was a great time!
Do you have a favourite memory of something that took place in Norquay?
For our first building event, I took my residents to Canada Olympic Park for outdoor luge. It was a great event to connect residents and learn more about the students within my community!
What is the strangest/funniest encounter you've come across on rounds in NBC?
I have not had a single ‘strange’ incident in NBC — which is probably for the better! :)
What is your favourite part about the NBC community?
My favourite part about the community is that NBC has a healthy mix of international and domestic students. It has been awesome to see residents connect from different parts of the world and share their residence experience together.
