If my school system decided it was fine to educate me without textbooks for 13 years why do I suddenly need to shuck out hundreds of dollars on them when my professors upload everything in a PowerPoint anyway

Wish me luck because I just emailed my professor and told him he was wrong because he said chromosomes determine gender. I’m so nervous I’m not good with authority, especially not male authority so yay!
I've taken so many classes that I can apply for one of three different degrees lmao
College Stuff Update
Finals start next Tuesday.
I am set to graduate next semester granted that I don’t fail Voice and Diction THIS semester
I started looking into transfer universities
I have found one so far that accepts transfer students into their BFA of Stage Management program.
They are all the way in Virginia.
They only do live portfolio reviews.
I live in New Jersey.
I’m transferring with a Liberal Arts degree instead of a Theatre degree for two reasons
One I don’t wanna be here forever
Two I’m not too fond of the professor that runs our theatre program
Finals are killing me and they haven’t even started yet.
I have two critiques for the SAME performance tomorrow (with 30 minutes between each critique to make any necessary improvements.)
I have a final critique for my other performance on Monday.
I have no clue how to do this final journal assignment.
My final paper for my Acting class is a response/reflection on the text book but she gave us no outline for the paper so i have no clue what to write about.
Do I go chapter by chapter?
Do I summarize it as a whole?
Do I ignore the summarization part and go straight into the reflection/response reaction?
WHAT DO I DO?
my sociology professor just handed out a quiz from the administration that’s supposed to gage his ability as a teacher and there are people who are legit going out of their way to do well. i just guessed on all the answers i didn’t know/couldn't find in my well detailed notes because i’m not about to make him look better than he is.
I started a blog
So I’ve always considered starting a blog, mostly because I make a lot of analogies and have a lot of thoughts. I’ve had Tumblr for a few years now (thanks to a friend of mine, she’s the best), but in the past year I’ve been using it less and less, yet I still love it and love the platform and all the sassy thoughts. I also am uninspired by blogging sites, so I thought maybe Tumblr would be a great place to both become re-inspired by the platform and also give me a place to post my thoughts and also reblog cool things (in addition to my other blog) in a more anonymous way (plus it feels less committal. I am a busy person that isn’t always inspired).
Why did I decide to start a blog that the main focus is community college? Because recently my thoughts have been forming in a blog post format surrounding my community college.
If you’re curious about some small facts about me feel free to read the following:
-I swear a lot
-I work a part time job in retail
-I love theater and I perform
-I go to school at a very small community college, and I mean small
-I live in a very uninspired town. By that I mean, we just got our first starbucks this past summer, and we have one movie theater where all anyone can talk about is the new screen being put in because there’s nothing else to talk about.
-I graduated from a small high school and I didn’t know what to do with my life so I decided to go to our community college, I’m in my second year and I still don’t know what to do with my life
If you would like to go on this journey with me feel free to follow me (or lurk and read posts until you deem me worthy to follow) and ask questions or comment, I may not be an expert but I might be able to help you with something.
The guy doing band (instructor is the word I'm looking for) at the community college I went finally sent me a message asking me if I could help out this semester.
i think i picked the worst possible place to sit in my polysci class two girls in the row behind me don't shut up for the entire class (and the prof is too laid back to care) and another person makes loud chewing noises like an ANIMAL its too early for this shit
