Earlier this year I participated in a Community Fieldworkers project that The Horniman Museum were running. 34 South Londoners were invited to respond to 18 objects from the museum's anthropology collection.
Here is a short video from the final exhibition of the Community Fieldworkers project with a little interview where I explain my approach to the project and excerpts of me performing some of the pieces.
A publication that has been produced by Rupert Acton-Thompson in collaboration with Verity-Jane Keefe.
I wrote a series of pieces exploring the links between the 18 objects and life in London utilising a combination of research and creative interpretation. These 18 pieces of writing were placed together in a publication entitled "An Anthropology of 18 Objects: A Field Guide" in collaboration with Verity-Jane Keefe.
More about the publication soon.
