I’m 2,300 words into writing the sixth chapter of Community Welfare and so far it’s my favourite one. I love the dynamics and that I’m getting to pull in some of the lesser used characters now. I think it’s pretty rare to see a scene with Kaminari and Sero and not the rest of the squad, and even rarer to see Tokoyami and Shouji to get a spotlight in an ensemble fic, at least in my experience.

I love working on this fic, I really do. And I love the slow burn I’m starting to weave into it all.

I’m making pretty significant headway on Chapter 3 of Community Welfare. In this chapter, there are 2 group chat scenes, both of them almost three pages, one lengthy chat message scene (and I have the messages broken up better this time, don’t worry), and three prose scenes, one of which has a bit of text messaging built into it.

The chapter is at 3k and I’ve only written out 1 1/2 of the prose scenes, both of the group chat scenes, and most of the texting for the prose scene. The full texting scene, the other 1 1/2 prose scenes, and the formatting remain to be done.

So... Sunday-ish? With any luck?

I have to add more emojis to this and a new format for post-it notes. Hopefully that’ll go over okay. Oh, and I need to hunt down some more images for Instagram posts for the next chapter.
