Hi! Can tics be limbs not working, like writing and your arm goes limp etc.?
I've never heard of this before, but it would definitely make sense. Especially if you have other tics besides this one.

Tic ask game #2!! (with a challenge at the end)!
1. If you had a superpower, what superpower would it be and how would your tics affect it?
2. Hardest thing to do on bad tic days?
3. How do you get through the bad tic days?
4. Share an OC who has tics if you have OCs. If not, share a character in the media you wish had been portrayed with tics.
5. Something you want to say to other people in the tic community?
6. The best part about having tics?
7. The worst part about having tics?
8. Something you want to say to supportive/non-judgemental people without tics?
9. Something that has brought you joy in your journey with your tics?
And finally...
Bonus #10: If you have physical tics, sketch something or make a craft and don't change the parts affected by your tics (for example, if your tics made you draw a bunch of random circles or squish a lump of clay, leave the circles on the page and leave the clay squished). Post the result.
If you have vocal tics, sing or recite a speech in one attempt without editing your tics out and post the result.
I'm sorry this challenge might not work for mental tics, but I will think of something for y'all soon!
Tic culture is someone asks you a question, your shoulder shrug tic sets off, then having to clarify that was a tic and not your answer
tic culture
I don't have any soda cans tics, but I do my tics just have it against any rectangular object. Notebooks? Yeet em! Cardboards? Yeet em! Cell phones? Yeet em! Paper? YEET.

Man, my tics are so weird, I vocal tic so much when I'm alone, but when I'm around people, it's only motor it makes me feel half the time like I'm taking the vocal tics but like, why tho.
y'know what? tics are weird sometimes. your vocal tics are just as valid and real and if you were faking, you wouldn't be worried about whether or not you're faking
how do I know if i have tics or am just stimming? i have (self diagnosed cause my parents suck) adhd, but recently i've been getting things that don't feel like my regular stims? they are either full or partial body clenches and like, twitches (?) and also little squeaks and mews. as far as i can tell they are involuntary and also might be brought on more by weather? plus it seems to happen more when i'm alone.
i'm not sure if this is right place to ask, but I'm really confused, and a little scared tbh i live in a really shitty town. thanks and sorry
I'm sorry to hear about your parents and your town. I don't mind questions like this, but I do wanna preface my advice by saying I am not a doctor and I don't know you personally, so please don't take what I'm saying as your primary information source.
If you've been experiencing twitches, etc. that don't feel like a stim and are involuntary, it is possible you've developed tics. One way to possibly differentiate between them is to see how they make you feel. Stimming helps regulate emotions, and tics do not.
If possible, I would recommend you see a doctor. I don't know if that's possible with your family situation, but my main advice would be to do that as soon as possible.
I hope this helped!!
