Como Vento / GERMANY
Como Vento is a project of the Johanniter in the regional association Ostthüringen. They play ska, town, samba reggae, marching, dub, confusion, grooove ... At present, about 60 children, adolescents and adults are playing with them. In an age range of 6 - 38 years, people, handicapped and non-disabled, make music with each other. The group is looking for a good deal, but it has turned out that common drumming only works if everyone also catches the weaknesses of the other. Because you have to mutually encourage each other before big appearances, the younger times peel off when the arms become hard to stick pavement. Lately, much volunteer work has been done. The Proberaum, the "big ones" - and this is not meant to be dependent on age - practice on Mondays with the children from the district. Wednesday and Friday are "small" samples, to try out, technique and performance training.
