The submission box is now closed! We have reached a grand total of 46 contestants! This post will serve as a heads up for what the comp will look like going forward.
Because we will have 23 winners in the first round, the poll closest to a tie will have both contestants moving on to keep the number even, and again when we get to 3 (unless we have a true tie somewhere along the way.) So the rounds will look like.
46 -> 24 -> 12 -> 6 -> 4 -> 2 -> Winner
The first round will be split into 3 sets of polls. 8 - 8 - 7. The second round into 2 sets of polls. 6 - 6. And then 1 set of polls per round. New polls will go up roughly once a week.
The Discord has suggested optional prompts you can use to promote your ships. A new prompt every round. You can write, draw, make a mood board, share a song, whatever you like, but it is 100% optional. Any promotional post tagged with this blog will be reblogged, related to the prompt or not. You could post nothing! It's no problem!

Round 1 of polls ends a week from now! With the discord’s help we’ve now got the full list of prompts for the remaining rounds.
I wanted to give everyone time to work on their prompts but please do not share any filled prompt with this blog until that round has begun. I won’t reblog it until then and I may not remember to go back for it.

Again, these are purely optional, and you can still fill the prompt even if you're no longer in the competition.

New Max Number of Ships!
The poll has ended and we are increasing the max from 32 to 64! If we don't reach 64 we'll just work with what we have. I'm just happy we have space for everyone who wants to be included!
Submissions will now be closing on September 24th or when the max number is reached and the Polls will begin October 1st!
Don't worry about keeping track of so many OCs and ships, there will only be about 8 polls a week to keep things simple. If I sent you a message about your submission being a runner up, then congrats! Your in!
