  The hat is what draws his attention. Wide-brimmed and almost comically large. Rowen sits, and he stares, and there's something in the back of his mind, the pit of his stomach, that screams there's something familiar about that hat.

 Perhaps his brain is still racing to piece together all the new information he’s learned; and there is an awful lot of it, too, after all. Perhaps it’s because he hadn’t truly expected to run into anyone he knows in this foreign land. But still, it takes him a moment or two longer than he would care to admit, before the pieces finally snap into place.

 “Cole!” He’s up from his seat before the words finish leaving his lips. ( he’s not alone he’s not alone he’s not )

On sight, she’s rather certain that this fellow lives nearby to her. It’s a familiar enough face, and really, she’s getting sick of passing by strangers. So, in a fit of near painful spontaneity, she walks straight up to this poor person while they mind their business outside.

“You. I’ve seen you around before and I want to know your name.”

Though Diana was never one to be an EMT, and she certainly wasn’t getting paid to take care of people now, it still felt like her job, like her responsibility -- even if she ended up not being able to do much at all, she still had to do something.

And, granted, someone looking a little lost and a little overwhelmed certainly doesn’t appear to be the emergency something like a heart attack or a stroke would be, but her heart feels for the young man, who looks pale enough and gaunt enough already without the apparent worry on his face, and the way he nervously looked around.

“Hello, there. Are you feeling alright?” Diana had reached a hand out to touch the young man on the shoulder, but she pulled away as quick. Best not to invade too much of his personal space.

“You look a little overwhelmed. I think there’s someplace nearby that might be quieter, if it’s all the noise and people out here. It’s a little stressful for me, too.”
