Summer Salt.

Do you guys know what’s a good way to celebrate reopening of the blog?

A new #CompetingForSalt.

#CompetingForSalt is a contest we already tried, so how about the restart of the blog we give a chance to welcome a new mun to pick up the name Refined Salt?

The Salt Competition will be split in two rounds. To submit your works publish them on your blog with the #competingforsalt and make sure to tag us as well so that we can see it ( Not in the tags, mind you. We don’t get a notification if you tag us in tags, so we can’t take your work in consideration). We would prefer it if it were personal blogs, but in case you run an aesthetic blog you can join, but keep in mind that you will be automatically disqualified from the first prize, but you will be able to win one of the two other ones.

Some further rules to point out:

1. If you are unsure if your character is considered canon, advise with the HetaliaWiki. If you’re still unsure, message us privately. 2. You can only submit one work ! No double or triple submits. Just one work per blog. 3. Have fun with it! We look forward to seeing your work! 4.  Aesthetics should be done in the same if not similar format as ours. That means a single picture should be 300x200 on 600x800 display. Moodboards are allowed as well, but we only allow them in 3x3 rows and columns being 150x150 in size. We advise youto do both, so it will show a bigger range. But that’s only if you pass the second round. If you have any questions feel free to drop them in our askbox.

And what are the prompts? Considering it’s June, the month of pride, this will be centered around pairings.We ask you to be as honest with this one, and do you’re very best. You’re allowed to genderbend, even use AUs.

Round 1: OTP - one true pairing Round 2: NOTP - not one true pairing.

The dates are, according to GMT+0

Round 1: 3. June 2017. - 11. June 2017. (Those who pass will be notified.) Round 2: 12. June 2017. 

And the awards are:

1. Guest spot as Admin Refined Salt ! 2. A shoutout + Moodboard/Aesthetic + Fic. Drabbel/Playlist! 3. You get to pick three Aesthetics/Moodboards/headcanon lists/character analysis/ficlets of your choosing which shall be done before Christmas and tagged with your blog name!

Does the "NOTP" in this context mean any pairing other than our OTP or does it have to be a pairing we dislike?

It has to be the pairing you dislike. It’s done to show you can do a variety of characters and pairings, and that you wouldn’t be focused on one thing in the ask box.

So it’s just a pairing you love and a pairing you hate.

For the competition, are we supposed to do a moodboard and an aesthetic, or just pick one?

Pick one. If you pass the second round, you can do another one or the same one.

When you say that you exclude Nyotalia, does that mean the 2P Hetalia girls are excluded, too? Like 2P Liechtenstein, 2P Hungary, 2P Belarus, etc?

Do we tag round 2 of the competition as anything special? Or is it still just competingforsalt?

Still the same, no change for it! Just do your best boo, tag it and we will see on the fifth how you did! We’re still using London GMT zone, keep that in mind.
