I hate it so much when the generations theory is used to describe the entire world when it specifically was constructed for American history. And the way they characterize generations is very American (and maybe Western idk). For example, the level of technological progress the generation is exposed to from its childhood can sometimes strongly vary depending on the country these people grew up in. And it just doesn't make sense to use these generations markers for the entire world.
